Stand for the Silent

Check out the Longfellow Chapter Stand for the Silent web site by clicking here.

Stand for the Silent is a group about respect and taking a stand against bullying. The organization was begun by Kirk Smalley, whose 11-year-old son took his life in May, 2010, after years of being bullied at school. The Longfellow Chapter of Stand for the Silent was chartered in February, 2011. You may view the group's website at www.standforthesilent.com for more information, or you may contact the Longfellow group sponsor, Michelle Sutherlin by email at msutherlin@norman.k12.ok.us or by phone at 366-5948. Parents, students and Longfellow staff may follow this link to join our chapter: Join.
